I just changed my wordpress install from one server to another and Error Too Many Redirects. I could no longer get the site working. I couldn’t log in or view the site or do anything.

After many hours of trying all the available fixes I realised that during the transfer I had created a tricky new database password with a comma in it [‘]. The comma was ending the dbpassword line early in wp-config.php and breaking the whole site giving the following error ERR TOO MANY REDIRECTS.

So if you are having theĀ ERR TOO MANY REDIRECTS problem with your wordpress site and have tried every other fix on the internet, then check you database password and make sure you haven’t got a comma [‘] in there!
